There are two main treatments that can be used to help your skin appear more youthful: dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle treatments. Both involve fine injections into the face, the contents of which are FDA-approved and made from non-animal sources, which means that it is considered very safe when administered by somebody with the appropriate skills, knowledge and expertise. Dermal fillers
Dermal filler injections contain hyaluronic acid gels. Hyaluronic acid is produced by your body and gives the skin its elasticity to enable it to appear youthful. Unfortunately, the amount produced depletes as we age, but dermal fillers can mimic this natural production and give your skin the boost it needs instead. By injecting your fine lines and wrinkles with filler, we plump up the skin, allowing it to look smoother and younger.
Dermal fillers can also be used as lip fillers and for contouring the face, hands and neck. The procedure for your face will take several minutes, and the results will be visible immediately. The effects of the fillers should last for between 6 and 12 months, after which you will need further treatment to maintain your look. Anti-wrinkle injections
Anti-wrinkle injections are similar to dermal fillers in that they do not require downtime or major surgery.
